Provide additional funding to support the expansion of the Youth Coordinated Entry System and programs providing housing navigation, access/drop-in centers, shelter, after care/case management and transitional housing for youth.

Enhance training and outreach efforts to homeless service providers and County agencies that serve homeless individuals, families and transition age youth by providing assistance in helping homeless citizens register to vote and access vital records.
E16: Affordable Care Act Opportunities

Maximize the contribution of Affordable Care Act to combat homelessness by aggressively pursuing the nine goals related to homelessness in the Health Agency's Strategic Priorities, with emphasis on: 1) maximizing revenue through the Whole Person Care pilots and Health Homes; and 2) providing integrated physical health, mental health, and substance abuse disorder services to address the unique needs of the homeless population within the larger health care system.
E17: Regional Homelessness Advisory Council and Implementation Coordination
Collaborating Agency: LACDA
Convene a public-private Regional Homelessness Advisory Council to ensure broad-based collective strategic leadership. Establish an intergovernmental Homeless Strategy Implementation Group jointly with County public administration leaders, Los Angeles City public administration leaders and LAHSA to coordinate the ongoing implementation of the approved homeless strategies.
