CARES Act Funding Allocations

Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), signed into law by the President on March 27, 2020.

Community Development Block Grant Program Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) Funds

On April 14, 2020, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors authorized the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) to receive and administer the County’s initial CDBG-CV allocation of $13.6 million, as well as future allocations, to respond to the impact of COVID-19.   

CDBG-CV activities funded with the CARES Act allocation are in the process of being planned and implemented.  More information about these activities and how they are performing will be released in the near future.
